Andrew J Carpenter was born in St. Louis, Missouri and obtained a Ph.D. in organic chemistry before working in the pharmaceutical industry for most of his career. This is his first book and grew out of his love for telling bedtime stories to his kids and the recognition that children really love it when things get a little silly.
