Enzo Mingione is Professor of Sociology at the University of Padova. His main fields of interest and research are poverty, unemployment and informal work. He is a member of the editorial board of the International Journal of Urban and Regional Research and of Inchiesta. He has been a member of the EEC expert team on “The Underground Economy and Irregular Forms of Employment” and has written, with Mauro Magatti, a report on “The Informal Sector” for the European Commission.
