Jeffrey Fuller is the Emeritus Professor of Nursing (Primary Health Care) at Flinders University with a background in primary health care service quality and safety, integrated care, leadership, primary health care service evaluation and research capacity building in primary health care covering qualitative and quantitative methods. He was the Associate Dean (Research) in the Flinders School of Nursing & Midwifery from 2012-2015. He has completed 30 research-to-practice projects since 2000 in collaborative models of chronic illness care in Australia and China and he is the author of a large number research papers all conducted in partnership with service organisations so as to ensure relevance and implementation. Prior to academia he was the team leader of a community health service in the northern Adelaide region of South Australia. In 2015 he was awarded the Basil Hetzel Leadership Award in Public Health from the Public Health Association of Australia.
