Michael T. Yen, MD, is an Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at the Cullen Eye Institute, Department of Ophthalmology, Baylor College of Medicine. He is also Medical Director of the Alkek Eye Center, Medical Director and Chair of the Governing Board of Baylor College of Medicine Ambulatory Surgery Center, and Co-Director of Baylor College of Medicine Aesthetics. He has been Principal Investigator in various research trials, authored over 85 peer-reviewed journal publications, and edited two previous books on surgery of the eyelids and advances in aesthetic and reconstructive oculofacial plastic surgery. He is the recipient of a number of awards, including, in 2013, the Senior Achievement Award from the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
