Dorothy Heppard has gone through a journey of getting to know God for herself. Her journey has influenced the title: If You Can Believe It, You Can Receive It. The book is based on her beliefs in God and how she wants to help and influence others to come to Christ. God spoke to her in 2002 about writing a book on the Scripture II Chronicles 7:14.
She is a born-again Christian who received Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior of her life in 1977. One day God spoke to her and asked her how she can fight against someone she serves, and she responded to God that he was right. From that day on, she has totally surrendered her life to God and everything that she goes through, she gives it to God.
She is married to a wonderful man who supports her. She is a loving mother of five children, nine grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren, and one on the way. She has a social degree in biblical studies. She also loves reading the Bible and writing.
