Michelle found inspiration for this story by reading about another woman’s dream. Her imagination was ignited and a story was born. A teacher by profession, educated at the University of Alberta, Michelle welcomed children’s joy as a favourite story was being read aloud in her classrooms. She is known for using grand expressions and wild hand gestures as well. The Merchant is Michelle’s first book. She invites you inside this tale where royalty meets whimsy, and hopes you enjoy it immensely. Michelle lives in British Columbia, Canada.
