Dr. G. Rajakumar is Controller of Examination and Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Francis Xavier Engineering College, Tirunelveli. He has 14.5 years of experience and received his B.E. (Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering) from National Engineering College, Kovilpatti, under MS University, Tirunelveli, 2004, M.E. (VLSI Design) in Arulmigu Kalasalingam College of Engineering, Srivilliputhur, under Anna University, Chennai, 2006, M.B.A (Human Resource Management) under Annamalai University, 2009, and Ph.D. in Information and Communication Engineering with the specialization in VLSI Design under MS University 2014; he is Post-doctoral Fellow in VLSI Design under Delhi Technological University, Delhi, 2016 and Honorary and Doctor of Letters (D.Litt.) in Information and Communication Engineering under University of South America, USA, 2017. He has published 4 patents and 5 international engineering books. He has published more than 30 international/national journals. He actively participated in more than 17 international conferences and 31 national conferences.
K.-L. Du received the Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 1998. He was on Research Staff at Concordia University from 2001 to 2010. Prior to 2001, he was with Huawei Technologies, China Academy of Telecommunication Technology, and Chinese University of Hong Kong. He visited Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2008. He founded Xonlink Inc. in 2014. Dr. Du has authored four books (Neural Networks in a Softcomputing Framework, Springer, 2006; Wireless Communication Systems, Cambridge University Press, 2010; Neural Networks and Statistical Learning, Springer, 2014 and 2019; and Search and Optimization by Metaheuristics, Springer, 2016). He has published 50+ papers and has 4 issued US patents. Currently, his research interests include signal processing and machine learning. Dr. Du has become Senior Member of the IEEE since 2009.
Álvaro Rocha holds the title of Honorary Professor and holds a D.Sc. in Information Science, Ph.D. in Information Systems and Technologies, M.Sc. in Information Management, and B.C.S. in Computer Science. He is Professor of Information Systems at the University of Lisbon—ISEG, Researcher at the ISEG Centre for Advanced Research in Management (ADVANCE), and Collaborator Researcher at both Laboratory of Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science (LIACC) and Center for Research in Health Technologies and Information Systems (CINTESIS). His main research interests are maturity models, information systems quality, online service quality, requirements engineering, intelligent information systems, e-Government, e-Health, and information technology in education. He is also Vice Chair of the IEEE Portugal Section Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Society Chapter and Editor-in-Chief of both Journal of Information Systems Engineering and Management (JISEM) and Iberian Journal of Information Systems and Technologies (RISTI). Moreover, he has served as Vice Chair of Experts for the European Commission’s Horizon 2020 Program and as Expert at the COST—intergovernmental framework for European Cooperation in Science and Technology, at the European Commission’s Horizon Europe Program, at the Government of Italy’s Ministry of Universities and Research, at the Government of Latvia’s Ministry of Finance, at the Government of Mexico’s National Council of Science and Technology, at the Government of Polish’s National Science Centre, and at the Government of Cyprus’s Research and Innovation Foundations.
