The lecture series entitled Development and Preservation in Large Cities: An International Perspective organized by the Department of Architecture and Industrial Design Luigi Vanvitelli at the Second University of Naples, the Regional Centre of Expertise on Culture, Ecology and Economy (BENECON) – an institutional member of the UNESCO Forum University and Heritage – and the Edward J. Blustein School of Planning and Public Policy at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey has been an extraordinary success involving 50 participants which has included academic staff, Ph D as well as undergraduate students of both the Italian and U.S. partner institutions, who have received a joint qualification.
