About the author
Aldous Huxley (1894-1963) was brilliant satirist who became a famed novelist and critic, and wrote travel books, poems, plays, and essays. He is best known today for Brave New World (1932), a profoundly influential satirical science fiction dystopia that extrapolates a bleak future, and The Doors of Perception (1954), a controversial non-fiction book detailing his experiences with mescaline.
