About the author

The author has more than fifteen years experience of frontline emergency response, responding to a range of emergency incidents for both the fire and rescue, and ambulance services.
He is also currently a lead instructor in the fields of road traffic collision and pre-hospital casualty care, creating training course content, as well as learning materials for a range of private and public sector organisations.
Recently the author has been involved in research and development leading to new techniques for responding to road traffic collisions.
