عن المؤلف

Alejandro Garro is a Professor of Comparative and Latin American Law at Columbia University since 1981. He also serves as an Honorary Professor of Law, the University of Buenos Aires, since 1990. He holds a JD degree (Abogado) from the National University of La Plata, an LLM (Louisiana State University), and a JSD (Columbia University). Professor Garro is admitted to practice in Buenos Aires, Madrid, and New York. He is the author of books and articles on comparative law, international business transactions, and international arbitration.
Jose Antonio Moreno Rodriguez LL.M. Harvard, 1993, is a Member of the Governing Council of UNIDROIT and Chair of its Working Group on its Legal Guide on Agricultural Land Investment Contracts (ALIC).  He is also a Member of the Inter-American Juridical Committee of the Organization of American States and Reporter for its Guide on International Contracts, as well as the Drafter of the Paraguayan Law on International Contracts. He was a delegate at UNCITRAL Commission Sessions and a Member of the Working Group of the Hague Conference on Private International Law on the Hague Principles on International Contracts. He is a Member of Annulment Committees at the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes and acting Arbitrator under the Permanent Court of Arbitration and other institutional rules. He is also a former member of the ICC Court of Arbitration. He is author and co-author of several publications in the Americas, Europe and Asia, and Professor and Visiting Professor of several universities, among them Heidelberg and Paris II.
