عن المؤلف

Dr. Anish Sachdeva is a Professor in the Industrial and Production Engineering Department at Dr. B. R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology Jalandhar, India. His areas of interest are Reliability and Maintenance Engineering, supply chain management, Quality Management, Human Factor Engineering, Simulation of Production Systems. He did his Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (India). He is Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Expert certified by CII-IQ . He has over 28 years of industry and teaching experience. He has guided 65 M Tech and 17 Ph D students, presently supervising 06 Ph D scholars. He has about 200 publications in international and national journals and proceedings of international conferences to his credit.  At present, he is a reviewer of many international journals. He is the guest editor of various journals published by Emerald Publishes, Elseveir and Indesrscience publications. He has been designated as member of International and National Advisory Committees of various international and national Conferences organized by various international and national Organizations/Institutions. He is associated with various engineering colleges in the region as a member of their Advisory Board/Governing Council. He has been member of Board of Studies of various prestigious Institutions like NIT Delhi, PEC Chandigarh, NIT Kurukshetra, PTU Kaputhala etc. He has organized six international conferences at NIT Jalandhar as Organizing Secretary and three international conferences as Chairman. and holds the position of Director (Honorary), Quality Circle Forum of India. He has visited USA, UK, Norway, Malaysia, Thailand, Hong Kong, France and Mauritius and delivered his research papers in various International Conferences. At NIT Jalandhar, he has handled various portfolios like Dean Academic, Dean Sudent Welafare, Public Relation Officer, Chief Warden, Nodal Officer  TEQIP-II/III etc. from time-to-time during the last 28 years during his service.                       
Dr. Kapil Kumar Goyal is serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Industrial and Production Engineering at Dr B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology Jalandhar. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from NIT Kurukshetra and completed his master’s degree in Manufacturing Technology from NITTTR Chandigarh, India. He obtained his doctorate from IIT Roorkee in 2012. Currently, with 20 years of teaching experience and 4 years of experience in the public sector and industry, he has established himself as a seasoned professional. Dr Goyal has an impressive track record, having authored more than 40 publications that have been published by renowned publishers including Elsevier, Taylor & Francis, Springer, and Inderscience. He has received accolades for his research, including the best paper awards at international conferences. His research interests encompass a broadrange of subjects, including Evolutionary Algorithms, Multiple Objective Optimization, Decision Sciences, Machine Learning, Manufacturing Systems, Additive Manufacturing, Industrial Internet of Things and Process Planning and Optimization. He also serves as an editor for various international journals and acts as reviewer for several reputable publishers. In addition to his academic pursuits, he has delivered expert lectures at prestigious institutions like IITs and NITs. 
Dr. R K Garg is Professor in Industrial and Production Engineering Department at Dr. B. R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology Jalandhar, India. His areas of interest are non-traditional machining, supply chain management, industrial management, and systems dynamics. He holds a B.Sc. Engg. (Hons.) Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Regional Engineering College Kurukshetra, M.E. degree (Hons.) in Industrial Engineering, and a Ph.D. from Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology Patiala (India). He has over 35 years of industry and teaching experience. He has guided 47 M.Tech. and 12 Ph.D. candidates for pursuing their Ph.D. degree. He has over 138 publications in international and national journals and proceedings of international conferences to his credit. He has been Reviewer of many international journals, Associate Editor of Global Journal of Flexible Systems Management (Springer), and also has been the Guest Editor of International Journal of Machining and Machinability of Materials (IJMMM). He has organized six international conferences at NIT Jalandhar as Chairman and Convener.
Dr. J. Paulo Davim is Full Professor at the University of Aveiro, Portugal. He is also distinguished as Honorary Professor in several universities/colleges/institutes in China, India, and Spain. He received his Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1997, M.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering (materials and manufacturing processes) in 1991, Mechanical Engineering degree (5 years) in1986, from the University of Porto (FEUP), the Aggregate title (Full Habilitation) from the University of Coimbra in 2005 and the D.Sc. (Higher Doctorate) from London Metropolitan University in 2013. He is Senior Chartered Engineer by the Portuguese Institution of Engineers with an MBA and Specialist titles in Engineering and Industrial Management as well as in Metrology. He is also Eur Ing by FEANI-Brussels and Fellow (FIET) of IET-London. He is Editor in Chief of several international journals, Guest Editor of journals, Books Editor, Book Series Editor, and Scientific Advisory for many international journals and conferences.
