He is currently an Associate Professor and the Graduate Coordinator of the Civil Engineering Department of Boise State University. Hongxin Chen received his Ph D from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, HKSAR, China. He is currently an Assistant Professor at the Department of Geotechnical Engineering of Tongji University, China.
