عن المؤلف
Dr. Chen-Fu Chien received M.S. in Industrial Engineering and Ph.D. of Decision Sciences and Operations Research with two minors in Statistics and Business at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, USA, in 1994 and 1996, respectively. He was Fulbright Scholar at the Department of Industrial Engineering and Operations Research, UC Berkeley, from 2002 to 2003. He also received the Executive Training of PCMPCL from Harvard Business School in 2007. He is Executive Vice President and Tsinghua Chair Professor at the Department of Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management, National Tsing Hua University.
His research mainly concerns the development of better analytical methods including big data analytics, decision analysis, and optimization algorithms and digital decision solutions for companies confronting with decision problems involved in strategy, manufacturing, and technology that are characterized by uncertainty and a need for tradeoff among various objectives and effective implementation for flexible decisions. Dr. Chien and his Decision Analysis Lab (DALab) Associates have been actively involved in many university-industry collaborative research projects in various industries including semiconductor manufacturing, solar, LED, computers, textile, aerospace, and traditional industries in which they employ analytics expertise in solving real problems with domain experts.
Dr. Runliang Dou received his Ph.D. in management science and engineering from Tianjin University in 2007. Now he is Professor and Doctoral Tutor in the Department of Information Management and Management Science at the Tianjin University and in Tianjin Key Laboratory of Complex Management System. Prof. Dou also serves as Secretary General in Chinese Industrial Engineering Institution, CMES, and Global Forum for Chinese Industrial Engineering Department Heads; Committee Member in Industrial Big Data and Intelligent System Institution, CMES; and Board Member in Asia Pacific Industrial Engineering and Management Society.
His research interests mainly focus on Digital Transformation Path and Related Technologies, Industrial Big Data Analysis and Decision Research, and Intelligent Manufacturing and Service. Prof. Dou has published more than 30 academic papers in international journals, like International Journal of Production Research, Computers & Industrial Engineering, Knowledge-Based Systems, Applied Soft Computing, Expert Systems with Applications, and so on. He owns several intellectual properties, including invention patent and software copyright.
Dr. Li Luo received her Ph.D. in Management. She is Professor and Doctoral Supervisor of Business School at Sichuan University and West China Hospital. She also serves as Director of service management research institute and Director of Big data Analysis and Decision Research Center. Besides, she is Visiting Scholar of Columbia University, Boston University, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, City University of Hong Kong, and other universities.
Her research interests mainly focus on service operation management, hospital management, and logistics and supply chain management. She also sets up courses of service operation management, services marketing, and hospital operation management. Prof. Luo has published more than 100 academic papers, including 36 SCI searches, 59 EI searches, and published two monographs in the Science Press: Theory, Method, and Application of Medical Service Resource Scheduling Optimization (by Raleigh, Shi Yingkang) and Big Data-Driven Intelligent Medical Health Whole Society Resource Management (by Raleigh, Zhang Wei).
