David and Pamela Newton left Manhattan more than forty years ago for the challenges of Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia. Since then David has been newpaper editor, woodsman, farmer and author of three historical books. Pam has raised six children, written two books and historically researched for CBC Radio.
