Were you aware that those with disabilities are the largest minority in the world? Were you aware that those with disabilities are not being reached by the church?
Laurie Thompson draws from her personal experience, years of ministry, and academic pursuits to bring awareness to the need for disability-inclusivity in a way relevant for pastors and Christian leaders alike. This book focuses on the imago Dei principle and how it applies to the disabled. Laurie offers a perspective on the importance of disability-inclusivity based upon this biblical principle so that the Great Commission and Greatest Commandments may be fulfilled and that the church may be true to its original design and purpose to reach all persons with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, including those with disabilities.
