Gulliver learns a lot about the culture of Martian society as they get through many adventures, going down a River of Death.

Gullivar Jones: His Vacation, also known as Gulliver of Mars, a novel which is considered important to 20th century science fiction literature by inspiring Edgar Rice Burroughs’ sci-fi works.
