H.L. Sudler was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and has served as a contributing writer to numerous periodicals and anthologies. He is the author of six books, including a collection of essays titled PATRIARCH: My Extraordinary Journey from Man to Gentleman, the thriller novel Summerville and its sequel Return to Summerville, the style manual Man to Gentleman: A Beginner’s Guide to Manhood, and the party handbook Cafe Living’s Favorite Cocktails (written with Keith Vient).
