The Ashes of Neverland [EPUB ebook]
A Peter Pan Dystopia

الدعم

2147. Earth is a wasteland, choked by toxic smog.  Humanity’s only solace lies within Pan Corp’s biodomes, sterile sanctuaries offering safety and a constant escape: the digitized dream of Neverland, beamed directly into the minds of every child. But this manufactured happiness masks a sinister truth.
Sixteen-year-old Wren Cadence lives a double life. Outwardly a model citizen, inwardly she questions the saccharine Neverland narrative and her parents’ placid acceptance.  A glitch in the projection – a fleeting shadow defying the programmed story – ignites her suspicion.  Her quest for answers leads her to a hidden archive, where she uncovers Pan Corp’s darkest secret: the exploitation of a broken Peter Pan, puppeteered by a vengeful Tinkerbell, a shadowy queen fueled by stolen dreams.
Tinkerbell, once a symbol of youthful magic, is now a magnificent and terrifying force, twisted by decades of exploitation. Her pixie dust, once a source of wonder, is now weaponized, enforcing a regime of manufactured innocence.  Wren’s brother, Rowan, a scarred former Lost Boy, embodies the tragic consequences of Tinkerbell’s reign, a stark warning of the rebellion’s price.
Their fight begins with a daring raid on Pan Corp’s “Reverie Core, ” the heart of the dream-harvesting operation, a gleaming spire pulsating with stolen childhoods.  Inside, they confront not only Pan Corp’s security, but also the Lost Boys, children warped into Tinkerbell’s enforcers, among them Rowan’s childhood friend, Elara.
As Wren’s rebellion gains momentum, fissures appear in the Neverland projections, sowing seeds of doubt in the dreamers’ minds. But Pan Corp tightens its grip, dispatching genetically modified Hunter units to crush the resistance.
Through Elara’s fractured memories, Wren and Rowan uncover a hidden history: an ancient pact between Peter and Tinkerbell, perverted by Pan Corp into a tool of control. The dream-harvesting doesn’t just power the city, it stunts the children’s emotional growth, trapping them in perpetual childhood.
The climax arrives during Pan Corp’s annual Dream Festival.  Wren confronts Tinkerbell, not with violence, but with truth, offering her a chance at redemption.
