Given the increase of morbid obesity in developed countries, bariatric approaches have also exponentially increased in the last decade. Bariatric surgery is the best treatment to obtain a significant and maintained weight loss in morbidly obese patients. Social demand has led many digestive surgeons to begin to perform bariatric approaches.
