This volume presents nine selected chapters discussing recent advances in chemistry research. Chapter Six reviews the interaction of bis[N-(2, 6-dimethylphenyl)aminophenyl-glyoximato-[kappa]2N, N’]nickel(II) dimethyl sulfoxide solvate with some biomolecules by computational chemistry methods. Chapter Seven examines the interaction between DNA bases with the molecular structure of 1, 4-Bis[(z)-2-(3-mesityl-3-methylcyclobutyl)-2-(thiosemicarbazono)ethyl]piperazine dimethyl sulfoxide. Chapter Eight reviews the acetoxylation of camphene over activated carbons with sulfonic acid groups. Chapter Nine demonstrates the behavior of short oligomeric molecules as being that of bistable machines.
