He argues that inquiry is self-correcting, and that this makes Deweyan inquiry particularly useful for the always-changing educational milieu.

He is the author of several books, including John Dewey’s Earlier Logical Theory and Deweyan Inquiry: From Education Theory to Practice, both also published by SUNY Press.
