She also has international certifications such as Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Computer Forensics US, Cisco Security, Network Security, Internet Security, CCNA Routing and Switching, CCNA Security, Cisco Certified Academy Instructor (CCAI), Hillstone Certified Security Professional (HCSP) and Hillstone Certified Security Associate (HCSA). Currently, she is the CTO of Elixircorp, an Information Security Company that she co-founded in 2007 in Ecuador. Karina is also a professor at ESPOL University since 1996 where she teaches at the Master”s of Applied Information Security and (MSIA) and at the Cisco Networking Academy Program (CNAP).
