Kathrin Schulte received her Ph D in aerospace engineering. Her research focuses on droplet dynamics. Prof. Tropea, now retired, has pursued research in the fields of Atomization and Sprays, Unsteady Aerodynamics, Wetting Phenomena and Measurement Techniques in Fluids Mechanics. He is currently Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Springer Nature journal Experiments in Fluids. Prof. Weigand is the head of the institute of aerospace thermodynamics. His research is focused on droplet dynamics, atomization and sprays and heat transfer.
