Mike’s book , The Italian Therapy Job, fits in somewhere between the genres of a travel book and increasing the awareness of Parkinson’s disease, which is a condition his wife Sylvia has had for around ten years. As the title indicates, the book is largely set in Italy, and charts the experience that Sylvia and Mike had in 2017 at the European Parkinson’s Therapy Centre, which operates from the attractive spa town of Boario Terme, to the north-east of Milan in the Alpine foothills They met some inspirational people there and the book is also a cameo of life in present day Italy.
