Dion and the Belmonts: Early Doo-Wop and Rock and Rolls Years looks at this stellar vocal group as a single entity and as individual artists. The group consisted of four Bronx friends and school mates who went on to become doo-wop legends with memorable hits "Teenager in Love, " "Where or When, " and "I Wonder Why." Differences in music preferences caused them to break up and go separate ways. Dion would score several top ten hits like "Runaround Sue, " "The Wanderer, " "Ruby Baby, " and "Abraham, Martin and John." The Belmonts would hit the charts with "Come On Little Angel, " "Don’t Get Around Much Anymore, " and "Tell Me Why." They would reunite at various times during their careers to record another album and to perform a memorable concert in their hometown of New York City.
