The Four: Buffalo, Dragon, Eagle, and Whale. Unleashed by the Creator on a planet without form, they used earth, fire, wind, and water to fashion the planet we call home. Their spirits were left to slumber in the care of human guardians and, for the most part, they have slept undisturbed, protected by dedicated humans and their spirit guides.
Until now, when a young man from South Carolina accidentally awakens and releases the White Buffalo spirit in a moment of fear and powerlessness. Desperate for a chance to escape the difficulty in his home life and persecution from his peers, Bobby Bridges agrees to become the next White Buffalo guardian and begins his journey with a trained counselor and mystic, Cecil Masters.
