The author has lived in Southern California for over fifty years, has been married for fifty-eight years, has two children and three grandchildren. She was very active in her community, which led to her being named Woman of the Year in her city. She was a successful real estate agent. She and her husband owned their own real estate company and had just retired and are now looking forward to lots of traveling.
She wrote this book to try to help other people that have suffered a stroke to go from being a stroke victim to a stroke survivor in a faster time period than she did.
