Larry R. Symes (Ph. D. Produce University) is Project Director, of the CIDA supported collaborative Indo-Canadian Project “A Design Model for Computerizing University”. Dr. Symes had been Dean, Faculty of Science the University of Regina for ten years where he headed Department of Computer Science and taught since 1970. Earlier Dr. Symes taught at Produce University. Dr. Symes is in the forefront of computerization of the institutions of higher learning in Canada. He has published extension of course curriculum. He has also published a number of popular articles in various computer application. Dr. Symes is a member of several professional associations and have travelled extensively abroad including china where he delivered invited lecture.
