About the author

Ben Jones was born in Memphis, TN, and has lived in TN, VA, GA, and now Georgetown, KY. He is a middle schooler at Scott County and won the Language Arts award this year for his grades and writings. He is an avid traveler and writer and enjoys public speaking and history. He gets much of his inspiration for his writing from all the trips his family takes across the country, including an RV trip to Yellowstone that inspired ‘Claws’. He is also a junior state ranked tennis player and plays on his high school tennis team.
