Part I, prepared by Guest Editors Nadia Nedjah, Abdelhamid Bouchachia, and Luiza de Macedo Mourelle, consists of 5 detailed papers, presenting state-of-the-art research results on adaptive models for evolutionary computation and their application in various dynamic environments.
