About the author
I left the small-town life for the big city in 1986 and moved to Montreal, Quebec. In my previous working career, I wore many hats, but none for long. At one point, I took a summer job in a daycare. In the fall, I enrolled in an early childhood education course and never looked back.
In 1999, I married Andrew, qualified as an English as a second-language teacher, and moved to Asia. Together, we have taught in Korea, Taiwan, the Canadian north, and Montreal. I retired in 2014 rich in experience and fodder for my writings.
Over the years, I have written poetry, amusing cards for friends, company newsletters, and musings during our travels. Encouraged to pen my adventures from the past and present, Life along the Bay series was born. The stories are fiction based on true events in my classroom and in life. I hope you like them.
