Christina Georgina Rossetti (1830-1894) was an English writer who published her first poem at age 18. Her brother was Dante Rossetti. Christina’s popularity was second only to Elizabeth Barrett Browning; she is most well known for her poems, “Goblin Market” and “In the Bleak Midwinter.”
