About the author

David J. Murray was raised in Manchester, England, and earned a doctorate at the University of Cambridge. He is emeritus professor of psychology at Queen’s University, Kingston, Ontario, and a resident of Toronto. Dr. Murray is the author of nine other books as well as several articles and encyclopedia entries.
