Dr. Albert Gaw is a clinical professor of psychiatry at the University of California Medical Center at San Francisco, a distinguished life fellow of the American Psychiatric Association, and a past speaker of the Assembly of the American Psychiatric Association.
Among his numerous publications are four books: Cross-Cultural Psychiatry; Culture, Ethnicity and Mental Health; Concise Guide to Cross-Cultural Psychiatry; and The Eyes of the Heart: The Biblical Path to Spirituality and Inner Empowerment.
Dr. Gaw’s current research is on psycho-spirituality of biblical characters. The current volume, Empowered, focuses on how to harness psycho-spiritual resources to empower one’s life.
