This Environmental Education for Sustainability book is an effort to realize the value of environmental education and that was realized through experiment. Different activities are conducted to realize the significance of the environmental education towards sustainability.This book highlighted on how Environmental Education (EE) is a lifelong process operates through formal and non-formal modes to encourages environmental awareness, attitudes, values, commitments for actions, and ethical responsibilities those help the local people for the rational use of resources for environmental sustainability. This book discussed on how climate change is a significant and lasting change in the statistical distribution of weather patterns over periods ranging from decades to millions of years and the book described the Climate Risk Management (CRM) approaches to coping with past/present climate variability and adaptation to future climate changes through climate-sensitive strategies and decision makings. Not only that learners will realize the status of industrial development in the cities and the towns resulted different types of problems such as unemployment, poverty, congestion, pollution etc. The problem of industrialization and urbanization is discussed. This is an effort to make the students aware about the different types of the naturally occurring hazards and also its impacts to the environment that educate them about different types of the naturally occurring hazards that have a drastic effect on the environment as well as on the organisms. Students will know how C3 plants include more than 95 percent of the plant species on earth and C4 plants include crop plants as sugarcane and maize help to produce oxygen by photosynthesis. To realize this, sustainable forest management (SFM) and the principles of sustainability is discussed.
