Cyril E. Bryan t was the first director of communications and long-time journalist for Baptist Press . Known for his contributions to religious journalism, he passed away in 2000 at the age of 82. Having privileged access to the early history of Brother’s Brother Foundation, including as a member of the world medical mission that launched the organization, Bryant published the first edition of Operation Brother’s Brother in 1968. Lars Peterson received his Ph D in History at the University of Pittsburgh, with a special focus on Latin America. His dissertation centered on state provision and workers’ movements in Uruguay. He has worked with Brother’s Brother Foundation for many years.
