According to the characteristics of high reliability and high availability, this book discusses the reliability requirements, reliability design, reliability modeling, and reliability analysis of navigation satellite and constellation, focusing on the demonstration and decomposition of reliability requirements, constellation availability design, satellite availability design, and availability analysis. Based on the characteristics of batch production of navigation satellites, the particularity of reliability work is analyzed, and the reliability assurance works during batch production such as process reliability, data consistency comparison, storage reliability, and redundant satellite demonstration are introduced.

Über den Autor
Yang Hui used to be the chief designer of the Bei Dou-2 satellite. Her main research interests are the system design of spacecraft and reliability design. She has long been engaged in the research and technical management of satellite navigation and its application fields and mainly participated in designing and constructing the space segment of Bei Dou satellite navigation system. She has won more than 20 national invention patents and 1 China Patent Gold Award, published 3 monographs and more than 40 papers.
Zhao Haitao is the reliability designer of Bei Dou satellites and has long been engaged in the research and technical work related to the reliability of navigation satellites. His main research interest is the reliability and safety of spacecraft. He has published 1 monograph and more than 30 papers.
