Our desire to return to Italy – even during COVID conditions was strong. We wanted to help our ‚other home‘ heal by helping the small businesses. We wanted to meet the people who have suffered so much this past year in isolation.

We set our sights on making it happen – and it did.

Our story is written in the same style as our book, Our Italian Journey – alternating chapters and adding a little sense of humor. From how to arranged to return to Italy while in Arizona – to arriving in Lucca in Tuscany, and working through the restrictions of the Italian Ministry of Health.

This is our short story of returning to Italy during a pandemic.
