One of the most misquoted scriptures in the Bible that have given rise to the need for rapid deployment is now is Deuteronomy 32:30. This text has been changed to reflect a momentary burst of enthusiasm, motivation, and boldness. However, this text is not a declarative but an interrogative statement. It asks a question: ‚How can one chase a thousand and two put ten thousand to flight unless their rock had sold them and the Lord had given them up?‘
This is a question that needs an answer. I believe Leviticus 26:7-8 will speak to this need of our collective effort, working together toward a single goal: to enlarge the kingdom of God. ‚And you will chase your enemies, and they will fall before by the sword…. Five of you will chase a hundred, and a hundred of you will put ten thousand to flight; your enemies will fall before you by the sword.‘
The need for rapid deployment is now.
