While searching for a lost baby cow one evening, Rachel and her little brother become lost in a snowstorm. This is the story that made a young heroine a household name, known to all Afrikaners.
This is a sensitive tale about the love shared between siblings in spite of their occasional differences. The example set by this one young lady serves as a reminder to all sisters and brothers everywhere that, no matter how much we might hate them sometimes, some siblings truly would do anything for us.
# 331 in the Bilingual Legends series. This book is in both English and Afrikaans.

Über den Autor
As an Australian poet, it’s hard to find work in the Outback. But there are children all over the world struggling to learn how to read. Some of them have hardly any books in their native language. That’s why I created the Bilingual Legends series – to give as many children as possible the opportunity to read a story in their own native language. Usually, the language each book in the series is published in will be one that’s spoken in the land where that story originates. A typical book also includes the text in English, but in some cases another language is employed instead.
