The spirit ascending is the third in the sharing series , reflecting an emergence
from the self to objective perspectives of experience, with a focus on people
and their life journeys. This includes a RAAF veteran from WW2.
Traditional heroes are lauded in the last section, part of what we are and can be.
The main focus remains Byron Bay. Spiritual teachers, including Gangagi,
were supportive. Zen Master Hogan-San designed the covers.
Satsang guru, Vartman, features in one squence.
The main theme is rebirth, transcendence, tempered with compassion
and understanding of the conditioning and reconditioning process,
central to all is the self.
In the vortex of the void descending
an eternal spirit, a spiral, ascending,
from the core, forever more,
pure in being, always seeing,
I am, I am, I am.
Über den Autor
John Stuart was born and raised in the Rainbow Region, on the Australian East Coast and has spent most of his life there, as a teacher and writer, and more recently, retired. In the last few decades he has travelled widely while maintaining his sense of belonging. The spirit ascending reflects a transition in John’s life, an emergencefrom the personal to the universal, observation of people and places, the lives we life, the extraordinary behind the ordinary. In living there’s a gearing to control the fear, of the simply being here.In passings to present this is reflected and observed, as do living lives, so richly deserved. In cycles we see, the you and the me, lost and found, going round and round, not astrology, just human psychology. And then, come with me for transforming grace, the sweetly serene, satsang space, all truths telling in the final scenes, the whispering wonder of beauty’s dreams.A tribute, from Jacqueline Lindsay, artist I have really enjoyed the experience of reading your poetry todayand shed a tear at some of your words- empathy, knowing the feelings. It is extremely courageous to share one’s soul.
