Rabbi Joseph Krauskopf (1858–1923) was a prominent Reform rabbi, social activist, and author, distinguished for his progressive approach to Judaism and his commitment to social justice. Born in Ostrowo, Prussia (now Ostrow Wielkopolski, Poland), Krauskopf immigrated to the United States in 1872. His higher education culminated at the Hebrew Union College in Cincinnati, Ohio, where he was ordained as a rabbi in 1883.
