She presents a variety of suggestions for the use of these graphics by therapists, counselors, clergy, psychiatrists, and individuals to reach and transform the harmful mindset of those fighting the effects of trauma. Karen Erdman has over 35 years of experience as an award-winning decorative artist, designer, and instructor. She graduated from Pottsville Hospital School of Nursing as an RN, and from Penn State University with a BSN and MEd with a specialization in health education. Throughout her nursing career, Karen has written programs for medical and educational facilities as well as mental health and allied health curriculum.
