After witnessing an incident Grace is very upset and runs to her Papa’s house to hide and recover. As the story unfolds Grace discovers a passion for music that she had forgotten. Her Papa (Great Grandfather) encourages Grace to write a song and this rekindles a memory in her that she’d forgotten. Grace and her friends uncover the musical history of the school and in doing so Grace’s own family secrets are revealed.
Grace’s Uncle Jack is a touring musician and comes to visit. He helps them start up a band and bring music back to the school. It isn’t long before the discovered hidden melody begins to change everything.

The singer is Uncle Jack, like Jesus. The Melody is like the Holy Spirit. Together these make the Song, like the trinity. The story will help young people understand The Trinity in a fresh way. It is also a book about hope and deals with bereavement and the struggles a family have when bereavement and death is not talked about. The overlying theme is hope and changing the world to make in a positive way through music
