Dr. Ruiyu Li, Professor at Northwestern Polytechnical University, completed her postdoctoral research at Xi’an Jiaotong University under the supervision of Professor Mingjiu Ni, a recipient of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars and a Changjiang Scholar. She has been a visiting scholar at the University of Southampton and the University of Strathclyde in the UK and was selected for the Shaanxi Youth Talent Lifting Program.
Dr. Li has published 17 journal papers as the first or corresponding author, with a total of 284 citations. Her work includes 11 SCI-indexed papers and 5 EI-indexed papers. She is the editor of one Chinese monograph and one chapter in an English monograph. She holds 6 authorized/applied invention patents and 3 software copyrights. She has been invited to deliver 6 academic presentations and has participated in 10 international and domestic academic conferences.
Her research focuses on high-fidelity numerical simulation of compressor flow fields and unsteady experimental measurement techniques. She has led 12 projects, including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, and National Key Laboratory projects. Her accolades include the Third Prize for National Defense Technological Invention, the Shaanxi Province Excellent Doctoral Dissertation Award, Northwestern Polytechnical University’s Excellent Doctoral Dissertation Award, and the National Doctoral Scholarship. Dr. Li is the chair of the Turbulence Section for the ICTAM2024 international conference, a member of the Chinese Society of Aeronautics and Astronautics, the Shaanxi Association of Women Scientists, and a member of ASME and AIAA.
Limin Gao holds is a professor at the School of Power and Energy within Northwestern Polytechnical University, Xi’an, China. She also serves as the Deputy Director of The National Key Laboratory of Aerodynamic Design and Research. She has been engaged in fundamental research in the aerodynamics of high-performance compressor, which cover the aeras of numerical method for transonic internal flow, advanced internal flow measurement techniques, and design method for high-performance compressor. Professor Gao has taken the lead on over 20 research projects at both national and provincial levels. Her outstanding contributions have been recognized with numerous awards, including first, second, and third prizes for science and technology progress/invention award at the provincial and ministerial levels. In addition to her research endeavors, Prof. Gao has been invited to present at more than 20 domestic and international academic conferences, authored over200 academic papers, and holds 37 granted patents and software copyrights. She has also served as an expert reviewer for national and provincial-level projects and as an expert for the Ministry of Education“s discipline assessment
Lei Zhao, an associate professor at Northwestern Polytechnical University, is engaged in research related to high-performance advanced computing and numerical simulation of internal flow in aircraft engines. He has led and participated in major projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation, including both key projects and projects aimed at supporting young researchers, as well as projects under the National Key Research and Development Program and funding from national key laboratories. Additionally, Prof. Zhao serves as an expert in high-performance computing applications research at Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd.
