This story reflects some of my loves: animals, the challenges of life, boiled fruit cake, the outback, and the interaction that can be achieved between animals and humans.

I lived with my mother until 2000, as my dad died many years earlier. I have travelled over the years to different countries and believe the knowledge gained is invaluable.
I grew up in a beautiful part Sydney along the shores of Botany Bay. This book is somewhat of a reflection of some of my dreams from my childhood. I hope that the children of all ages enjoy my story. There is a sequel on the way in a few months. -Leslie Stewart
