Maryna Romanets is an assistant professor of English at the University of Northern British Columbia, Canada. Her articles have appeared in Cahiers Victoriens & Edouardiens, Canadian Review of Comparative Literature, Canadian Journal of Irish Studies, Canadian Slavonic Papers, and as chapters in several books. She is currently working on a book project titled “Postcolonial ‘Erotomaniac’ Fictions and the Making of New Identities in Ukraine, ” funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada.
