He is the founding editor of the journal The Cerebellum and the co-founder of the Society for Research on the Cerebellum and Ataxias. He has written or edited several books on the cerebellum. Dennis J. L. G. Schutter is Professor of Experimental Biopsychology at Utrecht University, the Netherlands.
