Dr. P. Kandaswamy (b. 1953) obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Madras. Currently he is Reader in History at Pachaiyappa“s College, Chennai. He has been teaching History and Politics for the past two decades. He guides research scholars for M.Phil. and Ph.D. programmes. He has deep interest in Contemporary History of India and Politics.
